Local Maryland Officials pay The Family Room a visit!

It was quite the special day at

The Family Room yesterday!

We had the honor of hosting Mayor Jim Ruspi, Senator Craig Zucker and Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot yesterday at The Family Room!

We were beyond thrilled to receive not one but TWO proclamations from the state of Maryland in recognition of the difference our shop around the corner has made in our community. The Comptroller & Senator honored us for our service as well as our success in our first year of business. We couldn’t believe it and still can’t!

Mr. Franchot asked us what makes The Family Room unique and we told him it’s all of YOU, our community. TFR wouldn’t be the amazing place it is without our customers, our Maryland makers, and all of our new friends at the shop. Thank you for helping us make our shop so special. We couldn’t do it without you!
