Next Steps Knitting Class

Join us for a fun afternoon knitting class at The Family Room. In this Next Steps Knitting Class you’ll learn many new skills including how to: use circular needles to knit back and forth, cast on a new project, make the purl stitch, combine stitches to make stitch patterns, bind off and weave in ends, and how to wind a ball of yarn manually and with a swift/winder. Grab your mom, daughter or best friend and meet us at the community table for an afternoon of fun!

Prerequisites: Completion of the Beginner Knitting Class at TFR or previous experience knitting the garter stitch (knit every row).

For $70, your afternoon includes: 

• Next steps knitting technique instruction by local knitting instructor, Andrea David

• A hank of luxury worsted weight yarn

• A set of 24 inch, size 8 circular needles
