Learn the basics of Hand Lettering with local artist Anna Smith, of The Woodsmith Family. This class is for beginners and is perfect if you’ve been curious about modern calligraphy but not sure where to start or just want to get your feet wet!

In this two part class you will learn and practice the basics of modern calligraphy, mixing in serif and san serif lettering, and create your own beautiful wooden sign for your home. In Part One, you will learn how to use a brush pen, create basic strokes, write the upper and lower case alphabet, create serif and sans serif fonts, and perfect your own handwriting style. You will also receive tips and tricks that will help you on your lettering journey and project ideas.
